Who we are

What data we collect

• Preorder: name, phone number, chosen products, pickup location and time, notes
• Special offer request: name, phone number, quantity, location and time
• Catering request: name, phone number, email (optional), event type, date, guest count, details
• Contact form: name, email, message
• Review: name, star rating, review text

Why we collect this data

Preorders, special offer requests, catering requests and contact messages are collected so we can respond to your request and prepare the order or offer (legal basis: steps taken prior to entering into a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Reviews are published on the site with your explicit consent given at the time of submission (legal basis: consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Who we share data with

We use the following providers to be able to offer this service:

• Google Firebase (data storage, USA) — certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework
• Twilio (WhatsApp notifications, USA) — Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC)
• Resend (email notifications, USA) — Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC)
• Cloudinary (image hosting)
• Vercel (website hosting)

All of these have signed/accepted Data Processing Agreements (DPAs), and the transfer of data to the US relies on the safeguards listed above.

How long we keep data

We keep data from preorders, catering requests and contact messages for 12 months, after which it is deleted. Reviews remain published until the author requests removal.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, request its correction, request its deletion, or withdraw consent (for reviews). You can write to us at any time at claudiacarmendrimbe@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / APD) — contact.apd@apd-gba.be.
